Well, Last friday vrty did it again. Excellent day range. even though it closed lower. It went down right in the beginning and then went back up to almost the same level and close I thing on an uptick. Well in terms of support and resistance, I looks like the bottom is roughly where it is now with plus or minus 3/4. For example now its a good time to put buy limit orders to .... lets say 8 1/4 and 8 1/2 and then put automatic sells at around 9 dollars. This is the new day rance volatility that the stock is experiencing. The only issue that may bring the stock a litle lower temporarily is profit taking of course. So many institutions have made a lot of money with vrty. But this would be temporary and the vrty will eventually go back up. Second it's volume. This stock may stay at the +/- 3/4 if volumes remaines around 200k - If vrty has a volume around 300 to 400k or highere it will go up (historically speaking on no news/rumors/and no bad news...) One thing that I remain convinced that vrty is doing wrong. Is that they are not putting out some good news to wallstreet. While companies that compete with verity like excalibur talk about collecting huge amount of video and voice information and opentext braging about they paying customers like united airline, gte etc etc.... vrty comes out with some mickey mouse news like ( language stuff...small companies alliances). I do understant that they should be carefull about diseminating news. But they should at least put out some news, they are entitled and have the right to do it objectively like any other company. So I don't really understant there wallstreet campains ? This is not helping. We should not forget about selffullfing profecies. Perhaps vrty have a news game that I don't understand. But by being silent, I don't think it helps wallstreet analysts and vrty's moral. Unless there is something we don't know. We need more good news like glaxo..... what thing I can tell you guys. Is that usually when a company is very quiet - SOMETHING BIG IS COOKING THERE ! ( this is often the case, but not allways) It will be nice to get some information about what going on at verity from an employee here in this thread. This is of course public information. If works at att or at cirrus loggic or in this case at vrty, can of course talk about what he/she things about their own company without providing confidential information. Any ways, most of the people that work in a company don't have confidential information. But it will be nice to find someone who can share public information about verity and an employee would be great. This week, if there is not major salling the stock could go to 10 or 11 allready. BTW, I think the patient vrty investor will be greatly rewarded.( just like the vrty employee that have waited to have vrty changed there stock option plans to an exercice price of about 6 dollars - They deserve it of course ) Take care and be good Tijuana
