Leslie: As a supporter of I* let me say that Doug is accurate in each of his points. The only possible exception is the area of local backing. I* does have gateways in the major regions and will therefore utilize local communications. G* does have more gateways and can therefore cut into more. G* does have a potential problem with their target market of rural areas not currently serviced by any communications. There are some regional satellite telecommunications providers starting up. These providers should be much cheaper than I* or G* and could take business away from this market. After all, areas not currently serviced do not need worldwide coverage.
