I think though, that here--back to Billy--we have a bit of a problem. It seems he may have expected his former lovers to talk about their affairs with him, which I find rather odd, but perhaps indicative of the character of the kind of woman who appeals to him. And sure enough, they've all proved a willingness to accept money in return for their "stories". So who exactly was blackmailing whom?

I don't expect former lovers to talk about me in public, and offer them the same courtesy. Doesn't matter whether there was no need for secrecy; it's just poor taste to go around yakking about your sexual experiences.
