What's 1.5 million dollar against that 8% payroll tax Clintons wanted to impose for nationalizing health care? Clintons health care plan was a fraud. Special interests, such as the rust belt corporations and their unions, wanted to dump their retiree's health benefits into a nationalized health system. It was also an attempt to dump the bankrupt Medicare/Medicaid onto everyone. They've already screwed up the nation's medical system by shifting costs from Medicare/Medicaid onto everyone's medical bills --- buried in the regulations are laws imposing substantially higher medical charges on non-Medicare/Medicaid payors.

Democrat congress's in the past have threatened to shut down the government. The only difference is that Clinton was willing to shut down the government whereas Republican presidents acquiesed to the legislative branch.

The purjury charges aren't the heart of the case. The case is being pursued because of obstruction of justice, witness tampering, and suborning of purjury. The same actions utilized by the administration in the other investigations under Starr. If it was only purjury or sex, this would not have been pursued.

Gee, what smear campaigns didn't the Democratic Congress perform in the past? Both sides have been doing this for decades. The only difference is this administration is riddled with fraud and scandal.
