On stereotypes

Believe it or not, Alex, many people who are for preserving the quality of life on the planet also like to make money. Certainly there are extremist groups, and any organization (including the John Birch Society) has it's extremists as well.

The Sierra Club is actually far more MOR than you might think. And without getting into an ideological discussion, I'm sure everyone is in agreement on the value of clean pure air and water, and the preservation (versus commercialization) of our natural resources.

I considered myself conservative until I read your message. Why is loving mother nature anti-conservative and why is anti-conservative equal to anti-business ?

Hope you're not referring to the spotted owl fiasco... and what is the the Sierra club.

Maybe I just need to come out of hibernation ...
