Ed, Thanks for the response. The points you make are absolutely correct and I appreciate your informed advice. It is now clear that my choice of the words "trailing stops" was misleading and I hope my post doesn't cause others to fall prey to the mm manipulation you warn of. The stops I refer to are not placed in the market as advanced sell stop orders, but rather trip points on a local system which trigger the placement of sell orders in real-time when predetermined conditions are met. Even so, for a scenario such as DVNTF, I will try to keep the stops well outside anticipated play including mm shenanigans. Thanks again for your input which is wise counsel for everyone. In fact, I think I'll go back and double check those DVNTF trip point settings! In the meantime, I still hear it... tick.. tick... !!!
