I think Janice might be right about Paula, John. I have seen no indication that she is very intelligent, although some of the other women Clinton slept with seem to be. I do remember that there was almost a settlement agreement at one point, and that Clinton was apparently ready to say that he was sure Paula Jones was a very nice woman, who had not done anything to be ashamed of in the hotel room that day, or something like that. Vague, but almost satisfactory to her. It fell through at the last moment, but I don't remember why. Maybe someone else here remembers the details better, because they are obviously eluding me at the moment. Once the RWC started bankrolling Paula, particularly lately, it was to their advantage to keep pressing towards trial, because that would cause more dirt on Clinton to come out, in the discovery process. While I am pretty sure Clinton has done very unethical things, neither side here can make any believable claim to purity. The truth is somewhere in the middle, in terms of what Clinton has really done wrong, I think. Certainly, while all the charges against him are not the result of a right wing conspiracy (he is pretty good at hanging himself), there is an element of the right wing which is out to get him, and they have tried to pay off people who would be willing to come forward, just as it looks like Clinton and his attorneys and investigators are willing to pay off people, and intimidate them, if they do not come forward. Sliced potatoes fried in pure bacon fat? That sounds delicious, not that they are very healthy to eat. Did they taste at all like restaurant fries? To be doing that at ten, you must really have an underlying interest in cooking. Did you ever think of becoming a chef? And are you saying that you never put tomatoes in the refrigerator, or that you never dispose of them? Tomatoes get moldy pretty fast!!
