I am sorry if I offended you so much with such a simple opinion.
I last read that an average car "Ford Taurus" with the Ballard Technology as it stands today would cost $200,000.00. It is apparent that they have a long way to go to get the costs anywhere near affordable for the average person.
Nobody knows if that is possible for sure. It is still in the development stage.
With a market cap of over 4 BILLION dollars and no revenue for quite a few years I have a really hard time thinking it is not way over priced.
If and when I read that Ballard and all can produce a car with the hydrogen cells at a similar cost to todays cars, then I will become a beleiver.
A Bre-X waiting to happen? Harsh. Of course. But what if they cannot manufacture product cheap enough to satisfy the consumers?
As I stated, these were just my opinions only and these are the reasons and if you don't wish to read anybodys' post there is always the "next" button.

Peter,
I read "a bre-x waiting to happen" as a comparison not to ATF but to Ballard.Interestingly enough the thought had crossed my mind as well.
