I got the same thing from them, Steve. Also went to their website and read thru the comparison. AGI isn't a problem, but at this point it looks like a wash to me in the long term depending on the rate of return you use to do the computations. In the short term I'd have to come up with 4 annual tax payments from free cash (if I want to keep all the $$$ working) and I wouldn't be able to withdraw from the account for 5 years. I'll have to wrestle with it some more and talk to a pro, but I'm leaning toward leaving it a conventional IRA. If this had come along while I was still working it would have been a no-brainer.
