Bruce <<I am in no way "anti-MUSE". I am "pro-knowledge". What really works? What are the real end-users going to gravitate to?>>

Bruce, it is obvious from your posts that you are very much "pro-knowledge". However, since you do not end your posts with "Go VVUS" or "Time for the short squeeze", you can expect plenty of criticisms to your posts.

In the long-term and short-term, knowledge is power!

Good investing!

Hi Bruce Olson: I went the site you mentioned on your post (http://www.thepillbox.com/). Most clinic if not all has already started taking order for the pill. No wondering the last 5 weeks refill rate are flat. My question to you is why the refill rate of Muse is just flat, in stead of drop. Do not you think the pill is also hyped? My understanding is that the maximum pill dosage (100 mg/pill) is actually five fold more than the dosage Pfe systematcally studied on the FDA approval document. Also the specificity of Viagra to PDE5 is only 10 fold of that to PDE3 (a major component in retina), do you really think it is appropriate that, without systematically study of the effect of the high dosage (100 mg) to eye, a large mass started to use it? (how many urologist is as responsible as Bradpalm1 to try himself first?). It is very rare in this board to have a pro-knowledge discussion. It is extremely true that pro-knowledge will win for long term investors. I am still holding this stocks(down from $22). I am terrible of timing the market, so I just ride this boat up and down.

Frequently Asked Questions
about Viagra:

What is Viagra?
Viagra, is a new drug from Pfizer for use in the treatment of male
impotency. It is the first oral treatment for male impotence filed with
the U.S. Food & Drug Administration and the European Medicines
Evaluation Agency. It was approved by the FDA, 3/27/98.

Is there Prescribing Information I can read?
Yes, full prescribing information has now been published. CLICK
HERE for full details.

How does Viagra work?
Viagra is taken orally and is a known as a phosphodiesterase 5
(PDE5) inhibitor. By inhibiting the PDE5 enzyme, which is found
mainly in the penis, Viagra allows the chemical produced during
sexual stimulation, cyclic GMP, to persist. The longer cyclic GMP
persists, the better chance for increased blood flow and thereby, an
erection.

What is Viagra's success rate?
According to reports released in May, 1996 the success rate of Viagra
was between 65% to 88% compared to 39% for those subjects
receiving a placebo. According to an AP article released 10/27/97,
Viagra achieved a success rate of 80%, (no placebo results were
published.

What are Viagra's side effects?
We have heard that approx. 10% of the study group experienced side
effects such as headaches, nausea, facial flushing, and diarrhea.

Will Viagra be sold Over-The-Counter, or will it require a prescription?
Viagra will require a prescription from your doctor or urologist. It will
not be sold over-the-counter.

Our Position on Viagra.
We are cautiously optimistic. It would seem Viagra has a strong future.
However, it is important to remember that there are still several proven
ways of treating male impotence. The most popular current treatment
continues to be Penile Injection Therapy. It has proven to be both
inexpensive and popular. Our Rx Compounding pharmacists are here
to help you and your doctor or urologist formulate the right compound
for your specific needs.

BO the injectable has been around a lot longer than MUSE. All those MUSE users out there have been exposed to the VED and ICI and chose MUSE. No reason to go back to ICI if Viagra fails to help them. Your sequence of choices however, is right on the money. Try the pill first and if it fails decide how far you want to go to get an erection. MUSE>ICI>VED Ed
