re: mandatory overtime

OT has some bounds that may be over-looked from the pointy heads.

physical limitations
The most one can physically expect from a worker is an 80 hour week. That means you alternately work 16 hours and sleep as close to 8 as you can. Weekends are necessary for recharging, or the body will break down.

psychological limitations
Burnout becomes increasingly likely as the work-week is extended past 60 hours a week. How many sustained months of this could you take and still produce good code?

Coding needs an alert mind. 80 hours/week does not likely double the results of a 40 hour week. At some point, you will lose ground by forcing too many hours.

>>> Anything can happen, we have 637 days left.

>> Not if you take into account, weekends, holidays, sick leave, vacations, etc etc, we have a lot less time than many people think.
