Good find Maxwell. This is big news and marks another "new" level in IBM vs Intel. They must really like AMDs road map.

Maxwell and All,
Two big block trades this mornings:
1. 200K shares (unknown bought)
2. 250K shares (Goldman Saches bought at $29)

From briefing.com news: 10:00 -- 11:00 ET (Updated throughout the hour) Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) 29 9/16 +1: Piper Jaffray initiates coverage of chip maker with 'buy' and a $40 a share price target; feels that yield problems have been fixed while its low manufacturing costs enables AMD to profitably target its products at the basic PC.....

Best wishes

James

Maxwell,

-- among points in report said, ''We have been able to confirm that IBM (International Business Machines Corp.(IBM - news)) is indeed injecting capital into the company and plans to use AMD as an
instrument in its last stand against Intel (Corp.(INTC - news)).''

Wow! Wow!!!!
