Dr. Ricker

It is my impression that a joint hearing was held on 3/31 with the US and Canadian bankruptcy courts to authorize the sale of the acid plant. The hearing I attended on 4/1 regarded Kalamur debenture redemption. The reorg plan was also available to the public on that day. The results of the previous days hearing regarding sale had not made it down to clerk's office. I don't have any "they" to ask, I get my information through public sources such as the courts. The answer I would assume is

3) Worth what somebody was willing to pay for it.

All,

In case anyone still cares about the technical issues, I ran across Rendall's 1995 patent (5,387,276), "Method of leaching mineral values from oil sand tailings" in my files, and it shows that sulfuric acid is a key ingredient. So why are they selling the acid plant? How will they produce all those valuable minerals without it? If I were long, I'd want to know.
