What's wrong with Intel R&D? How can AMD and NSM build better chips than them? isn't Intel supposed to be the biggest and the best? Their chips are more expensive and slower. Their manufacturing ability is really their only strength, isn't it? With all that R&D expenditure, where's it all going???eom

Albert, don't get caught up in a Vodka induced delusion about this so called super ruskie chip Elbrus. There is no such thing. It's all just a wish not a reality. Maybe some day they will build one but by then Intel might have a 2GHz McKinley or something.
