OK, BOYS AND GIRLS. HERE IT IS. This is what I learned from my 90 minute conversation with Chris McNeill. Any errors are mine, not his.
"anti-virus" software sweeps software to prevent virus being loaded into system.
"Firewall" software protects against technical breakdowns.
"encryption" software makes possible the sending and receiving of secret messages. Remember Enigma of WW2 fame?
Jaws technology is "encryption"; it is NOT "anti-virus"; it is NOT a "firewall".
Encryption technology began by using 56 bits, jumping to 126 bits, where it remains today. The increase in "power" is not mathematical, but exponential. In other words, 126 bits has about 10 times the power of 56.
HERE'S THE EXCITING PART: The Jaws encryption technology uses 4096 bits, which is SEVERAL THOUSAND times more powerful than 126 bits. The code combinations are ENORMOUS and, therefore unbreakable.
Encryption technology falls under the "munitions" section of both U>S> and Canadian laws and, therefore, cannot be exported. However, EBIZ still exists as a U>S> company, and JAWS exists as a Canadian company, so EBIZ will sell in the U>S>,and JAWS will sell in Canada.
Sor, for now, there is only the North American continent as a market (ONLY?). But, to expand, JAWS can license vendors in other countries, which is apparently legal.
So, even though governmental regulations prohibit export (I apologize, XY) it's a non-issue (I take it back,XY).
Jaws technology can also be used to encrypt cell phone voice transmissions, which is a huge additional market. This boggles the mind.
Sales and marketing is the primary focus right now. Venture capital firms are being lined up so JAWS will be adequately financed. Product should begin shipping in 90 days or so. I have no idea when earnings will begin, but I have a feeling that isn't important, right now. When attention begins to fall on this company, I think the HUGE potential will be perceived and we'll have a winner on our hands.
