I think you won't see Loral directly in any U.S. DTH in competition with Echostar or Directv, but as others have said also, they most likely will enter DBH market in Asia and possibly India. The U.S. market is too competitive, and Bernard only chooses fights he knows he can win. No use draining cash in the U.S. market. Loral is/was partnered with Echostar and ABCN for Asia DBH, but these are the birds that were put on hold. This is also the business Loral is rumored to be in negotiations with to buy ABCN's portion.
