Janice, I think you know the great debate which has went on between agnostic/atheists and Christians for evidently many many years. People such as Christine and X believe that mankind naturally tends toward goodness -- ergo, we as humans don't need Gods, religion or morality, and even if religion is to be tolerated, then religion and those so called "holy books" should at least then take a back seat to guiding people's morality, and let the politically correct agnostics decide what will be accepted as moral behavior in society. But it even goes further than that. Christine is not content with having her personal moral principles be believed by everyone personally around her: Her goal is to change every church of the world to accept her personal moral guidelines, and I have to tell you, I am not at all ready to go along with that. A big stop sign is flashing in my mind.

The Jerry Springer show then, offers even more evidence (to me at least) that corruption in mankind is not solely the result of poor parenting, but mankind does indeed tend towards corruption, and therefore there may indeed be supernatural forces of good (God) and forces of evil (Satan) battling for the soul of each and every human being.

I do think it ridiculous that Christine and others who are not Christians, and indeed have ridiculed Christians at every opportunity, should attempt to interpret the Bible, and then tell Christians what Christians should think, and all the while studiously ignoring everying that Christians here and on the feelings thread have said, which is "WE DON'T HATE HOMOSEXUALS".

But Christine's goal is to prove that Christians are actually what is corrupt in our society, and so Christine doesn't want to know what Christians really believe, unless it fits what she purports us to believe.
