They can't even supply water, electricity, and phone service on a regular basis. Now they are warning about cholera.>> I think BULLSHIT is just fine, you can't be shot over truth. If the website was in KL now that would be a different story! Remember that MD we occasionally talk about? He has to move his company to CyberJaya BEFORE June 15. The good Dr. is expected to tour this area to check on the progress of his <wet> dream. So most of his time will be spent trying to get phone<s>, building, power, and Oh yeah PEOPLE to work out there in the midst of the rubber and palm oil plantations. BTW no transportation services available. Hmmmm how do the average folks get to work? No problem Dr. wants Dr. gets! Cholera is a real threat to the region. Nothing I cook or drink with comes from the tap. Even without the severe drought we are going through, I just don't know how there isn't a continuing epidemic here. Sadly, the effect on me is NO MORE stall food until the rains come. This problem has the potential to have more of an effect on the economy than the "haze" and the exchange rate combined. How many ex-pats, embassy workers and people with cash will hang around with a choleral epidemic??? scarry huh? bt PS how come WDC went down after a mention on Squak Box last night?
