Value of "M1 Rights"

Steve, the issue of who actually owns the mining rights to M1 does not appear to be resolved yet.

The fact that another company bid R40 million for the heirs "rights" to the property hardly legitimizes the heir's claim. Given that:

R40 million = $8 million US @ (.2US/R)
Reported value of M1 is around $300 million US.

I assume that SUF would be willing to pay a multiple of $8 million US (lets say $25 million) to have this thing resolved no matter how strong they believed their case to be. So offering $8 million would seem like a easy way to make some money for some company.
