Carol, nice stuff. My mom once told me when you point a finger at some one, look. Three are pointing back at you. As a kid that was strong stuff. So, I began a practice of not being tooo critical of others thoughts, actions or beliefs. I too slip some times, but it's a good thing to try and not do.

Thanks for the poem.

(The Internet Ode)

It's the mind's new dimension
A world without edges
Where mind blends with mind
And the soul can run free
But where, in the diners
On the Internet's highway
Will my heart find its' soul mate?
Is there a home page for me?

Is there lust 'mongst the modems?
Are there digital lovers ?
Do the fingers on keyboards
Unite fleetingly ?
And what pleasures await
In the night, after surfing ?
Will my flesh feel your touch ?
Can you whisper to me ?

It's a life you may say
But not as we know it
For a mind less its' body
Is not human, you see
So unless I can reach out
And taste, touch and smell you
Then your hyperlinked world's
Just a hyperbole.
