I did not see your documentary, Marshall. However, if you are saying that there were perfectly natural explanations for events which seemed like acts of God or miracles at the time they happened, I do believe in that theory.

I watched the first part of a Jesus documentary on PBS tonight, and one of the topics discussed by a theologian is that anyone of any importance, including Roman governors in Jerusalem, was expected to perform miracles in the first century, and that is was not necessarily a sign that someone was divine.
