I checked with my broker and he said that even though it's currently U.S. traded - being a Cdn company, it would qualify as Cdn content under RRSP rules.

In respect to impact of the stock being listed on the TSE it could be very little, other than some additional exposure to Canadian investors who only play the local markets. Usually it's the reverse, where Cdn stocks get listed in the U.S. which results in significant additional exposure to the U.S. investment community.

Ultimately, they will trade in tandem, though there could be some opportunities to play the minor differences due to currency and one exchange catching up with the other during the course of the trading session.
