Re AOL & SI .... I wonder how well SI is doing now ...?? I realise bottom line isn't the main concern of the people who operate this medium, but I joined only recently, before the last price increase, and have noticed some negative occurances. Firstly, the latest price increase came relatively soon after the previous one. Then the one month free trial period started... and finally some of the SI threads have consolidated on Yahoo .... SEEK comes to mind, but there are a couple of others I follow.
Despite what has been said previously by the owners, I would try and get some money out of this now because it is going to be a depreciating asset as competing and bigger players take over.
