>>Sony's consumer format - Betamax (<$500 machine), is a far cry from the professional Betacam ($10,000 to $40,000 machines). Rocky knows this but likes to spew misleading information.<<

And just how did I spew misleading information?

I clearly stated Beta SP (which clearly differentiates it from the cosumer Beta format, and digi-Beta as well) in my reply. I clearly stated that the machines were expensive, and the profit margins were obscene.

Oh, and one thing, Betacams (the actual camera you see news crews with) are closer to $100,000-- Not $40,000. Beta SP DECKS are from $10,000 to $40,000.

In the future, when you choose to try and correct me, make sure you are able comprehend what I write.
