Wow! You have to like that finish. After a truly heartbreaking morning I watched the rally tick-by-tick on that killer java app called LiveChart at quote.com . If you haven't seen it yet be sure and try it tomorrow, it's hypnotic.

I just picked up a small chunk of RNWK yesterday (a pure bandwagon play). I must apologize to the thread for not warning anyone that I was getting in. I haven't bought a stock yet that didn't immediately tank.

Aloha from Maui, Mike

About the day today...it was not pretty. I was close to selling around $32. I was concerned with the market as a whole. The Dow scared me a little, but when you look at the percentage change that 100 points is on the DOW nowdays, it doesn't seem so bad. Yahoo was also very much on my mind. If you look at Yahoo's movement on a chart, the movement was very similar to RNWK...or should I say that RNWK's movement was much like Yahoo's!! Yahoo seems to be a good "parallel" indicator of I-Net stock movement. Yahoo releases 1st Quarter earning tomorrow..right?? Will be watching.

I had to sell. 110% return from the IPO for me and with yhoo's earnings comming out tomorrow it was a risk I didn't have to take. I use realnetworks products everyday and believe they hold the future in delivering video and audio across the web. I bought for the long-term and thought for a couple of months that no one liked the stock because it just sat there, then the momentum players moved in you know the rest. I'll pick it up in the future, which they hold. My next move Broadcom.

How about that kick-ass rebound from low 32's to high 34's in the last 10 minutes!!

I hope this is a good sign for things to come tomorrow, but I'm afraid that it may have only been day traders covering their shorts from earlier in the morning. If that is true, you'll see RNWK start off down a point right at the open tomorrow. Then, how it goes after the first hour is what the trend will more than likely be for the rest of the day (IMHO).

Initially, I found it hard to believe that YHOO was the market indicator for internet stocks, but it looks like (for now anyway) that may be true. If it is I hope that the heavy selling in YHOO is not because some one knows the earnings are going to be off of the first call. I'd hate to see RNWK's recent increase be cut short due to YHOO's missed earnings. Especially since RNWK's earnings aren't due out for a couple more weeks.

Oh well, we all knew a correction was coming eventually. Let's just go ahead and get it over with so we can continue onward and upward.
