Just finished checking out the AOL drilling board. They went BALLISTIC over thestreet.com error. Maybe 60 posts today regarding it, seeing a big conspiracy by Cramer in this. However they are nothing if not passionate. Here's a post from BigJet2, who took the lead in writing to thestreet. After receiving the correction and an apology, BJ2 responded to thestreet.com thusly.

<<Do you have any idea how many people you may have caused to sell offshore drillers yesterday? The statement that there were 43 less offshore drilling rigs on contract in the U.S. Gulf as compared to a year ago was stupid. Anyone with any knowledge of offshore drillers could have easily know the information was wrong. Is Cramer shorting the drillers again?
He was on CNBC this a.m. talking negatively about them. Hell, if he is allowed to put out extremely false information, not wonders. Someone ought to sue you guys. Also, now I question your retractment. There is to my knowledge 2 additional offshore rigs working the U.S. Gulf as compared to last year, not 12. I expect a full retractment on your report. And, suggest you do more research as you still
have not got it right. P.S. I'll bet Cramer made money on the drillers further correction yesterday. Some one ought to sue you. Hope Baker Hughes gets on you butts, bigtime. I am forwarding this information to them. P.S.S. Does the SEC have any control over you. Will forward to them too.>>
