Anyone for a game of Semantics?

I thought the correct usage of DVD was "Digital Versatile Disk"
& not "Digital Video Disk"

But it looks as though i'm wrong....
I plugged them into AltaVista
and this is what I got

"Digital Video Disk"
returned about
1918 documents

While "Digital Versatile Disk" returned
About 980 documents

NEWS FLASH!

your focus on the S-8s misses the forest from the trees. Have you reviewed the latest 10Q just out a couple of days ago. I did and came across this statement:

"The Company has retained the services of an investment bank to assist the
Company in identifying strategic partnerships for the Company's products."

i called paul berlin to find out more about this. Apparently, the company recognizing it is a very small company competing with the major players felt that they were now in the position to seek out a large recognizable partner to be able to fully maximize ptsc's potential. prior to this time they did not feel the company was in the position to do this nor was the market where it is today. anyway, paul berlin told me patriot has retained one of the world's largest financial institutions that is one of the top major players in M & A. He would not identify the name but indicated it was on the level of a
Solomon Bros., Merrill Lynch, etc.

apparently, ptsc wanted to put out a press release but the banker requested that it did not want a public statement at this time. however, patriot felt it was of such material importance that it felt that something had to be stated in the 10Q.

patriot interviewed a # of bankers looking for one with global contacts, especially in the far east. the investment banker and ptsc has put together a list of prospective partners. ptsc is looking for one that has significant financial and engineering resources with credibility in the market who is interested in chip technology.

this company has put together a book on ptsc and has already begun presenting it. apparently they are already getting some positive feedback and the investment banker feels confident it will be able to do something; obviously no guarantees. although the exact form has not been decided upon i would expect it would be along the lines of a minority interest rather than a complete buyout.
