I guess the Zip drives aren't shielded ? I just finish backing up both of my computers. The Zip drives are working fine. I tell no lies. Steve S

The problem with counting on ZIP diskette sales for backups is that I believe most people will only buy a hand full. I use a ZIP drive for backup but I will NEVER buy any more zip diskettes than the 5 I already have (I use it to backup when I am on the road and then I transfer my final backup to our server when I get back). With regular hard disk prices falling so fast, the large removable storage companies are going to be facing a lot of decreases in sales/prices.
