barton briggs-of morgan said asia is heading into depression right now and its going to drag down the world-it will be intersting to see if amat makes money this summer. again, amd might go up tomorrow as confirmation it will not go out of business soon-just kiddin-it will be a lonely summer-et-phone home-margin calls

akidron, I listened to a majority of the AMD CC and they are talking about becoming profitable by Q3. They also stated that they see the industry to accelerate in the 2nd half of this year. Their were some other fairly positive comments on their die shrink progress. Overall I would call this CC cautiously optimistic. Interesting if you look at all the gloom and doom out there right now. I could have totally misread the call, but I do not think so. Just some comments and a little off topic. Anyone else listen to the CC?? MileHigh
