Yaacov, How nice to hear from you! Remote Access Report: I attended Rand Morimoto's seminar this AM and made the following observations: 1. Rand gave similar seminars in Hong Kong and Singapore recently and told us that the interest in BT was very high. 2. He shared with the audience the fact that he used BT to communicate with his office and found it to be an excellent tool. With one single international connection, he was able to return phone calls through his local PBX in Oakland thus saving on long distance calls. 3. Clients calling were surprised to find him at "work" when they knew he was supposedly out of the country. He explained that he indeed was out of the country, using the BT technology giving him a virtual office anywhere. 4. The seminar was attended by approx. 70 people from various corporations, cities and government agencies. 5. Rand dedicated over 35 minutes to the unique BT solution and DataRace personnel demonstrated on a large screen including a conference call while surfing the web and handling email. During the end of the demonstration we were blessed by an actual incoming call to the DataRace employee. This showed the audience that BT is in essence "your office" anywhere. 6. Rand was asked about other technologies, DSL solutions and other RAS servers. Many solutions do exists with regards to data only transmission, but regarding data and voice, BT is the only real game in town that works. I notice a high level of confidence amongst DataRace staff and Inacom staff in attendance. Inacom Omaha headquarters was well represented including the Channel Development Manager and Service Marketing Manager assigned to BT. These type of seminars are certainly raising the level of awareness for BT and should increase demand for the product. Serafino
