IMO, shorts see a light at the end of their tunnel -- this light is future share dilution from all of the deals being announced. At some point these new "shareholders" can and will sell -- allowing the shorts to cover. The only way to beat these shorts IMO is for the company to be bought out, as intended, or for them to release amazing earnings next year that cause a ferocious amount of buying. Good news is not enough around here. Revenues is not enough around here. A fat dividend might work, but it would have to be pretty big and painful to work effectively -- .50 at a minimum -- do not think DCTC would care to spend that kind of money right now, nor do I think they should. As Colin has said, shorts can be caught through certificates, but it is very nearly impossible to get all the shares called in.
I am not the least bit concerned about this stock though it has been nothing but a loser for me thus far -- I will probably call for the cert. and wait for someone to trade me a fat check for it later this year or early next.
Eric

Maybe it would help here to know how many shares Joe has bought back so far. Does anyone know if this info is in the news letter or has anyone spoken with Joe that might let us know.

BTW, at the 1.50 price we are at, $5M would at least 3M shares (I know we have been buying since 2.34, so we will definetly be less than that). That should bring the current float down to 11-12M shares without counting the latest acquisitions.

James, I have no information on if any shorting is being done today (although it very well could be) OR if there is shorting if it will be limited to shorting against the box, the box being the Card Call (restricted and/or unissued) shares.

OR if someone powerful enough will short undeclared shares naked. I assumed the 600,000 WERE naked shorts. But perhaps it is just Card Call people selling now, before they are legally allowed to do so.

IF THAT'S THE CASE, isn't there a LEGAL CLAUSE in the DCI contracts that prohibits the selling of shares? AND if that is TRUE, doesn't that mean the seller FORFIETS HIS UNISSUED/UNREGISTERED shares?

Anyone care to comment on this as a possibility?

Colin
