The way I understand this is that the company is trying to consolidate locations (Portland and Santa Clara). The Nashua site was formerly 3DV and the Beaverton site was formerly ProTools. The Magic Solutions acquisition (New Jersey) gives the company an opportunity to consolidate the help desk business in a single location.

You also have to take into account the amount of contractor engineering being used when you look at headcount reductions.
