Well said Jeffery. I'm sick of seeing this childishness as well.

No kidding. I've been in and out of ASND 8 times over the last few days. I don't want to miss the big gap up (if it ever occurs) but I'm doing nicely on the bounces.

I wasn't paying attention to all of the "Tim" conversation, I just noticed a lot of posts to him. My characteristic response was to make a note of everyone writing to him.

I've got to go. I've got tennants in rental property I need to go yell at.

LOL everyone. today is "our" day.

Jack

there is a difference, tim can either apologize for the names, or we continue. so many people have sent me so many of tim's old posts, we might reach 50,000 posts sooner than anyone believed just on tim's old bearish posts.

tim is touting he predicted all this, and repeating it none the less.

he purchased at 37 and and again at 27, but was predicting 20? makes absolute sense.

I own 300 at 37 and 2K at 27 so 30 is my # to get out, the only way this stock will ever see 50 is if they get bought out and I don't think that will happen. - tim luke, Nov 29 1997 11:06AM ET

Jeff,

You are right. I'm sure no one here (short/long/trader) is 100 per cent sure they are doing the right thing. BUT very few of us put on short skirt, wave pom poms, and cheer so much in a public forum and then cry publicly when it looks like our team might lose. Doing this (making wild predictions) without backing it up with facts gets tiring. If someone like Gary Korn posted a prediction I'm sure it would be backed up with fact which is why he has earned his credibility. When someone makes bullish predictions on a daily basis and then start to publicly worry, they lose credibility and open themselves up for criticism.

Most people on this thread come here for facts/news, interpretations or facts/fews, and opinions of how facts/news might affect the price of of Ascend. Cheerleading does nothing for an investor and is a waste of most of our time.

I'm not trying to take advantage of someone when they are away, I'm just responding to your post to Jack. You are right in that the timing of Jacks post may not have been good.

RE:<<Tim has already stated that he wouldn't be here today. A perfect time for some of the weaker personalities to gang up on him>>

Very true, but I wasn't sure wether to believe him or not....
Oh, and I may not have a good personality or even be successful in every endeavor, but I will state for the record, I've never broken my arm trying to pat myself on the back. Nor do I knowingly (as a politician would say) "purposely mistate the facts". Where I come from it's called a bold faced lie... and, the funny thing is, the only thing he has to gain from it is an increased ego.

Oh, and I'd state these things whether he were here or not...i'm sure he'll read them.
regards,
greg
