I'm not a believer that there is anything sinister about it. They are simply doing what you and I would do if we were in the same position. George: If, indeed, this speculation about CC folks shorting is true, then the question of legality becomes the issue. Assuming for a minute that there is shorting taking place, it is obvious that it has had a negative influence on the stock price. This defeats the whole purpose of why the stock options were restricted in the first place. DCI did not want these shares to come to market until the company was better established, because they knew that it would hurt this stock price. And this has obvious implications for negotiations taking place on all these new deals. So if people are circumventing the legal arrangement to get their money, then I would say that's sinister. The question in my mind is (again, assuming that this shorting is taking place) "why would all these people be shorting now?" By shorting against their stock options, they forfeit any future gains that the stock makes above the short price (at least, that's my understanding). It seems that these people feel some urgency to make a move now. I have been feeling that there is some driving force behind this activity, and there is one name that keeps coming up in my mind (I won't say, but I think you can all put your "FINGER" on it). I have seen some of the poisonous e-mails that "a certain person" has distributed lately, and it is not beyond reasonable to speculate that he has been encouraging CC people to get out now, "Oh, and by the way. Here's how you can do it..." This is just speculation, but there's been a ton of fishy stuff going on lately with the price action. Any other theories? PA
