Dear Shalom: I have a few questions for you when you get a chance to respond. Why do you think there is this assault being waged against Christianity on the AG thread? Shalom, I am not experiencing any unrest at all. But thank you for your concern, in any event. Did you watch the PBS special on Jesus? It was really fascinating. Of course you are welcome to take the Bible literally, and to never read another word from modern theologians who have studied the Bible extensively, and considered recent findings in the archaeological record, in trying to sort out what really happened in Jesus' time, and what it all meant. But certainly I think it is unfair to assume that people who do believe that our body of knowledge grows, and may change, over time, are frustrated, as you called me. I am simply seeking the truth. Do you believe Jesus was a white man, incidentally, Shalom? We talked about that over at the Feelings thread, and I got the idea you thought I was casting aspersions on him, and you seemed shocked that I was saying that the people from his Jewish tribe were brown people. But you have never answered my question, and I am curious.
