<NAR> I believe I understand why research firms are lowering estimates for CSCO for the future. Hambrecht and Quist announced that they too are lowering estimates today. The reason? CSCO is spending more money hiring people and more on R&D, just like Chambers said last quarter. Nonetheless, they maintain a STRONG BUY recommendation on the stock. That is probably the reason why Glenn Rudolph has been able to publish all those lowered estimates reports.... Looks like ASND got the contract to build GTE's Frame/ATM network. Bummer...for GTE!!
