I heard that TXN is talking down their Q1 numbers--heard this on CNBC yesterday.

Interesting, although the analysts know about this---the small investors probably don't know it.

So what if TI comes in "on expectations" but well below last year's performance?

I think this stock is ready to tank---soon. Once it bounces off the bottom look for a gradual rise back up to new highs over the next 3 quarters.

My 2 cents worth....

Long term I see TXN in the 80's 1999 timeframe. Wether we get there from hear through the 40's again I don't know BUT this stock is
STRONG BUY anywhere under $50.


I certainly have mixed feelings about seeing 40s again. If we do, I'll add and if we don't, I'll enjoy the ride with what I have.

You're right about long term.

Now if I could get a few others out of the nursery into grammar school, I'd sell off part and add more TXN.
