Hi, N.O.

Thanks for your assessment on earnings. If I did not see your post tonight, does it mean "no news is good news"? Or "bad news"? <G>

Have a good long weekend.

Guys.....There is a LOT of good news buried in this call that I am now listening to.

First, there will be significant operating leverage on the bottom line after China opens. We will see this reported within twelve months. Firmwide capacity goes to $280 million; we will ultimately see that filled.......maybe to OEMs right there in China.

Second, the LCiD can be the future display product for the MOT digital phones.......and/or Nokia.....and/or Ericsson. Digital market is maybe 15% of 230,000,000 wireless phone units per year in 2003. The bandwidth will absolutely be there, via satellite, and including the MOT Iridium satellites. EVERYONE will want a color display, readable in daylight. I predict TFS will have full motion, color video available in a digital phone-size LCD display, at a cost-per-unit less than $50, before that time. (Well before that time.) The MOT/partnership satellites are not in the air (sky----no air) yet. You may bet they will be there before 2003. Bandwidth (data transmission rate) will drive the desire for great displays in the mobile-everything market.

The answer "no" to whether TFS is in any satellite wireless phone deals today, while correct, should not be heard as a preclusion of such a deal at any time. The handset is the last and easiest piece of that puzzle, and is not ready or needed today. Hell, there is a critical shortage of private rocket launch capacity today....companies are using Chinese converted-military rockets. The handset is the least of the pieces, IMO.

The ride ahead seems visible. Am I an optimist, or WHAT ??? All IMHO, of course. Heck, MOT may have its own displays by 2003......but, if TFS keeps ahead on the technology curve, it will get its share. mcd
