<< It would be a shame if "SHORTS" like you are allowed to misrepresent this new approch and companies technology.>>

That's a rather odd comment. You make it sound like the success or failure of the company's technology depends on its stock price. Do you have a link where we can get more information about this conference?

<<It would be a shame if SHORTS like you.........>>

>>>Then why do companies sell stock? Is it just
some sort of public service? They sell stock to
raise capital. <<<

<<And once the stock is sold, the shares trade on the market.
Unless you purchase in an IPO or secondary offering, nary a
penny goes to the company.>>
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The stock price has value to the company in terms of a secondary
and/or acquisitions where stock is used to purchase , but ...

The fault in Biojunkie's argument about shorts not giving the
company a chance is that it would more rightly be the lack of
faithful longs to support a "fair" price for a particular company.

Say what you will about shorts , but if longs never sell their
stock for less than they paid , how can the price go down ?
I know ... BLATANT MM MANIPULATION (I always wanted
to yell that...just kidding.)

Besides Biojunkie , as far as any message board is
concerned (except maybe YHOO boards) ....just present
the better argument. Some folks still like hearing every side
of the story.
