I know it is your style to start an on going discussion about an issue for about 10 or so posts. I told you I did not care, and I am tired. But here is the math:

If CSCO is growing from a base of $6.4 Billion its quarter rate is $1.6 B. And you said they are headed to $8 B. Well then they are $2 b short of 20% per quarter growth.

$1.6 B run rate compounded for 4 quarters is $10.3 B. Tell them to send to missing $2.3 B to my house!

Good night, Dennis

Gary,

I am pretty sure the revenue number for q1 97 was adjusted (Asnd + Cscc) b/c the merger was completed much later in the year. That was a good revenue producing quarter for both "then Asnd" and "then Cscc" b/c pricing was not much of an issue.

The average share prices for Asnd, Cscc, and Csco(before the 3 for 2 split) were all around $50..during the month of April, 97...

However, CSCO is trading over $100 currently split adjusted....and Asnd is around $40...

Asnd is still a better buy/investment from here...I am also waiting for opportunities to purchase more CSCO...
