Jim:
<<<< I am not expecting DELL stock to make a major move until after CPQ and GTW report next week.>>>
I agree the big money may stay away from computers in general until CPQ speaks again. Am holding only one short term call on Dell
at this time
To Anyone :

My neighbor has a program called ICQ (i seek you) , or Miribilis
which is free during trial version and downloadable from the Web
Using it is much like a cross between E-mail and the thread
You can write on the left side of a double screen and read an
immediate reply on the right side , much like a slow motion
telephone but much cheaper.
A flashing icon on windows will warn about an incoming message
from a participating member of your selected group of users.
Does anyone here use this program or would like to try it.( I
have it installed but have not tried it yet).
Comments?????????
Sig

Jim, I think that GTW is going to be the bell weather here. GTW is closest in operating philosophy to Dell.

I like to think of M. Dell's comment this way: he's already seen 75% of the quarter. Remember that Pfeifer warned after seeing only about 33% of the quarter! So I think this quarter is in the bag!

Now in regard to market research, I believe that all we really care about is the market for Dell, and who better able to gauge that market then Dell himself.

Regards,

Paul
