Don't worry, the bears can have my WMB shares after they pry them from my cold, broke fingers... ;-)

I look at WMB as one of the better long-term tech/value plays around. I do have a separate group of small "red-chip" stocks for the excitement of investing in (and living viscerally through?) small, growing companies; but I'm holding Williams for retirement.

I was just reading a Morgan Stanley report on WMB in which they rated the stock as a Strong Buy, but thought they would have poor earnings when they report this week (they are projecting about 2 cents below consensus). Basically, the were recommending that folks pick up shares after some anticipated price weakness once earnings were released.

Does anyone have any comment on their report or projection?
