Dwight, again, how I ever got the idea you were off the Mark is hard to figure out right now. But continuing to wage war on the level of the mind is possible only with those who have the ability to actually think about what words are being spoken. Often that is not possible, and the person is totally committed to something else. As in committed.
In a nutshell, what I have seen vomited here daily by hordes who now come and go freely dumping on all thought pertaining to Jesus Christ, is that basically those with the mind of the "world" discriminate against NOTHING--NOTHING ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH-- except Christian thought as derived from the Holy Bible. Nothing else, nor will they even admit to evil, and mock the idea that there is a "source" of evil, even though this reality is spoken of in all of written thought from the first moments of recorded thought as we know recorded thought in any way.
But to the minds that visit here, as it were, in organized groups, from the same places, there is no evil. But, again, that is the acting out of the Biblical reality of the exact mind of satan which first came to Eve.
That God's rules of order are "bad", but satan's idea to turn away and do whatever pops into your head with other living creatures is "good", no matter how demented or depraved, it will still be excused away. There simply is, for those who have rejected the Mind of God, NO concept of wrong. And this is impossible to cope with, so don't.
Again that is all of their free will. You cannot argue with the mind of satan. Over "it" there is no intellectual power because their eyes have scales, they cannot see, and their ears are plugged they cannot hear. The more I live, the more I see that every word in the Bible was put there for a reason. It will all play out eventually as a lesson to repent or a lesson understand what is not understandable otherwise.
And the human mind separated from God is a ship spinning without a rudder. Therefore to try and follow it with your mind, well, it will only give you a headache. Again, from our Lord: His precise words as remembered and written:
Matthew 10:14, records: "Go NOT unto the way of the gentiles (heathen idol worshippers, all). But go to the lost sheep of ISREAL...
go to a town and inquire WHO IS WORTHY and abide there....and when you come into a house, salute it, "and if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it; but if it be NOT WORTHY, let your peace return TO YOU. And whosever shall NOT RECEIVE YOU, NOR HEAR YOUR WORDS, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Verily I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the DAY OF JUDGMENT than for that house or city [that rejected this offer of my Father through from Me, is what He was saying].
Now Mark repeats it: "And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony AGAINST THEM, and verily I say unto you [about Sodom and G in the day of judgment. That those folks will be judged less harshly, which will be pretty harsh].
Now Luke repeats it: "And he called his disciples together, and give them POWER AND AUTHORITY OVER ALL DEVILS, AND TO CURE DISEASES.'
And for those not happy to hear the message from the disciples:
"And whosever will NOT RECEIVE YOU....shake off the very dust of your feet for a testimony AGAINST THEM."
So much for the concept of Jesus as the stoned hippy who just loves everybody and wants us all to get a bong.
II Cor 6:14. From Paul himself speaking for our Lord:
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers; for what fellowship hath righteousness (right-ness) with unrighteousness (wrong-ness)? and what communication hath light with darkness?"
Making the point even clearer, Paul continues to explain:
"and what concord hath Christ with Belial (satan)? Or what part he that believes with an infidel?"
"or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? FOR YE ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE LIVING GOD; AS GOD HATH SAID, I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK IN THEM AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
Wherefore, come out from among them, AND SEPARATE, SAITH THE LORD, AND TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN MIND...OPPS, THING, AND I WILL RECEIVE YOU...SAITH THE LORD ALMIGHTY."
Works for me. But just absolutely trashes the Global Village of satan, where NO SIN will be looked upon with disfavor.
Anyway, you are fighting the good fight, but nothing will be accomplished here without divine interference, maybe not too pleasant when it happens, or maybe some people will get knocked off their horses by lightning and recover as a sane person with a brain capable of finally communicating with their Creator, or maybe none of the above and these are just part of the crowd that WILL go through the very wide gate where many thereby pass through.
You didn't see Jesus instructing anyone to stand at the wide gate and scream and beg them to turn back, either, grabbing their arms and wrapping yourself around their legs so they have to drag you, and maybe that holds them back.
Some people imagine they see that, but its not there. And if it's not there, why do we interpret that it is? It serves only the enemy, and drains the Holy Spirit out of a person slowly over time, since that person was first instructed to MOVE ON TO THE NEXT by Jesus Himself.
Any Christians, especially, that disagree, don't judge me for accepting Jesus exactly as it is written, and I won't judge you for painting your own picture of Jesus as a Hindu/70's hippy. These are judgments that are forbidden among us in the first place. We provide balance for each other's excess, is how I see it.
When the Holy Spirit tells you to shake dust, please feel that you can do so knowing that all that could be done has been done. The rest must be left to prayer, I guess.
