Don:

In essence there is a dual thrust that the company has adopted, neither of which is dependent on the other. The traditional thrust will continue on with the drilling and assaying of the playa, and later on to recovery. At the moment we do not have recovery numbers because we do not yet have the South African report, which will be an in house analysis tool that will be used hand in hand towards working up an optimized recovery system. The average grade in North America is somewhere below or close to .2 ounces per ton/Au. Much of that cost has to do with cost of infrastructure and getting to the material. Franklin Lake would be easy to get to with a very good infrastructure already in place. This points very favorably to economic recovery, since we are now looking at traditional mining techniques.

Dr. Johnson's ongoing work is being funded by Naxos. Some major mining companies have ongoing R&D funding - Newmont comes to mind on that issue. The purpose for R&D is once again to optimize yield, and henceforth future shareholder value, whereas traditional mining adds shareholder value on a faster time track.

In regards to the expansion of the Naxos office in Vancouver - you can only have so many people doing so much before you have to add reinforcements, and the pace has definitely picked up in Vancouver. Insofar as day care centers - no, there is not one planned - the largest day care center of any Naxos employee is at my house with six children :0)
