You may have discussed this earlier. I hope you can help me. I am having trouble with my online trading. Which of the outline trading services provides the quickest executions? I realize none of them are perfect, but which ones work the best.

Superdot..

I found this at NYSE site:

"SuperDot ......
SuperDot is an electronic order-routing system that enables member firms to quickly and efficiently transmit market and limit orders in all NYSE-listed securities. The orders are sent directly to the specialist post or to the member firms' booth where they are executed in the auction market. A report of execution is returned to the member firms' office over the same electronic circuit that brought the order to the trading floor. The execution is then submitted to the comparison system.
During 1995, SuperDot processed an average of 319,558 orders per day for a year-end total of 353 subscribers. SuperDot volume of 80.5 billion shares in 1995 exceded all prior activity records. The NYSE increased the peak capacity of the system to provide the order-processing capability to handle 2.3 billion shares per day, or 375 messages per second, without system queuing. Some of the components of the system are:

The Display Book (Electronic Book)
Opening Automated Report Service (OARS)
Market Order Processing
Limit Order Processing
Broker Booth Support System (BBSS)
Post Trade Processing
Trade Reporting "

Now does anyone know how we can access this service? I'll call my brokerage Monday and let you know if I find out anything useful.
