Emile, Thank you for your prayer. I have started on "The Original New Testament" by Hugh J. Schonfield. It starts off with Mark, then Matthew. I'm at... let's see... Mt 14. I had never before read the Gospel of Mark (which Schonfield entitles "Mark: The Recollections of Peter") and thought it a very good read. Much more episodic than Matthew (which I had read before). Mark seems to have a more Messianic theme, as opposed to an ethical or how-to-act theme (characterized in Matthew by the Sermon on the Mount). What's your opinion of Mark? Greg
