To All
A simple Idea..... Instead of everyone on this thread taking turns tearing down what eveyone else believes in, try this. A day dedicated to only posting the positive things that YOU believe in, with no commentary on anyone else's belief system. No telling anyone else how wrong or foolish they are. No telling anyone how you are superior to them. Just a straightforward assesment of why you believe what you do.

Just a thought,
Mark

There's no "Elder" after Pliney? Sorry, too many Elders hanging around literature. But definitely a study of Josephus and Pliney and other first century historians of repute is the project for the
indefinite future. I think Pliney would have probably gotten me there anyway, but I thank you for your help with my research project.
I do my research starting with the basics and read only what my hands can touch and my eyes can see personally. Kind of like John when he's talking about Jesus. Just to remind us he's NOT talking about some fable someone made up. Neither do I. I leave myths and fables to the pagans, and attack history like a forensic detective.

So, of course, I have found many, many interesting things.
