To all Longs: I'm interested in learning more about GEN and why it is(or isn't) a buy now. What do you thing the earning growth will be over the next year and why? Will the recent acquisitions be a major plus or a waste of money? Would anyone be interested in buying out GEN and why? What makes GEN special or better than its competitors? Any monopoly products? What do you think the stock price's lower support level is? and anything else. Thanks in advance!!!!

How much "asia" exposure does GEN have and what do you expect the impact to be this year? "During fiscal 1997, sales in foreign countries were $123,729,000, or 52% of GenRad's total sales," Why did he quit??? Kevin R. Cloutier was elected Vice President, General Manager, Electronic Manufacturing Systems in November 1996. Mr. Cloutier was employed by the Company for 14 years. From September 1995 to November 1996, he served as General Manager of GenRad's Board Test Division. From December 1994 to September 1995, Mr. Cloutier held the position of Southern Regional Sales Manager. From April 1993 to November 1994, Mr. Cloutier served as Executive Sales Engineer. From January 1992 to March 1993, Mr. Cloutier held the position of Senior Account Manager. Mr. Cloutier resigned from the Company on February 23, 1998.
