ALL So I said to myself last nite at the Good Friday services...."Self, why in the readings of the passion..in the Gospel of John, does he recite only two denials of Peter, when confronted with his association with Jesus?" When in the Gospel of Luke it is the more familiar three denials.....and how is it that we have come to know the dialogue between Jesus and Pilate? If neither Matthew, Mark, Luke or John were there??? just wondering

Jane, drums have been used in every culture since the beginning of time. The human species loves rhythm and dancing, and these are joyful activities. Can you show me your source that says drums are a direct path to darkness? Did the ancient Jews use drums? Incidentally, "Sunday" is a pagan name. Are you going to stop saying it now that you realize that? Much of what is handed down to us is of pagan origin, because early men took the seasons, and the goodness the earth provided, and the planets, and oriented themselves based on their environment. That is not a bad thing. I am not sure where you got so scared. It sounds kind of like you were drugged and abused by a Hell's Angels gang. Violent criminals and drug dealers are about as close to satanic that you can come in this culture. They are definitely NOT very nice people. Any respectable pagan would reject them immediately, however. It sounds like you got dragged through the netherworld, and have formed all your opinions based on these people.
