I'm firmly convinced there will be no impeachment. It is a sad but true factoid borne out by my personal experience that our legal system protects best and longest those who deserve it least (tenants who don't pay rent, deadbeats who don't pay bills, layabouts who'd like to collect for imaginary injuries, members of one of the victim classes who feel they are entitled to something for nothing and yes, even Presidents who make outlandish claims of privilege, fail to produce subpoenaed documents, hide witnesses, etc.) By the time the Courts are finally fed up with his antics, Mr. Clinton will be back in Arkansas as a private citizen.. JLA..

I hope you like Spotted Owls and $2.50 gasoline.

Greg,

I would not shed a tear if he were impeached tomorrow. Greg.

It would be a source of great joy to me. Too bad it won't happen. He could be caught in the process of an axe murder, and the Repubs wouldn't do a thing as long as the economy is good and Joe Sixpack is happy. Elected officials are not known for courageous or principled positions. On his side, that Paula Jones suit was really ridiculous. My wife's comment: "He dropped his pants. Big deal. Get over it." But the pain and expense he went through serves him right for siding with the feminists and the trial attorneys to make every imagined offense against a woman a reason to sue. Poetic justice.
